Brief explanation of the purpose and content of the project

This is the creation of a different business model in the field of hospitality in Barcelona. PABS HOTEL aimed at a fundamentally elitist group aged twenty-five to fifty. The purpose of that exclusive hotel is to fit the wants and necessities of a very specific segment of the population with the inclusion ofdifferential services.
Hotel capacity is 120 rooms, mainly divided into three parts: one for singles and one for couples and one for couples with young children.
The hotel has international ambitions.

Target group

PABS hotel caters to three different population groups but despite their differences we find common ground between them that will be the basis on which to create the features ofthe hotel. Common elements of our target group are:
1. High purchase power people.
2. People who look for a different hotel experience (sensitive experience).
3. People who is interested in culture and innovation.
4. People who look for a hotel which is able to fit perfectly their wants in every moment by a personalized treatment.
Organizational Culture

Organizational cultureconsists of a complex set of ideologies, symbols, and core values that is shared in the firm and influences the way business is conducted. Shaping the organizational culture is a central task of strategic leaders.
The hotel uses the systems thinking approach which emphasizes the relationships among a system's parts, rather than the parts themselves. It helps a person to view systems from abroadperspective that includes seeing overall structures, patterns and cycles in systems, rather than seeing only specific events in the system.
The basis of the PABS hotel organization culture is the intense training of all employees for a total adjustment to the needs and desires of customers by giving them a personalized treatment. The hotel manager, the waiter, the receptionist, the porter -everyone plays a vital role in delivering a memorable guest experience.
In order to achieve these desires and needs PABS HOTEL has a complex system of research that captures the present and future demands seeking by the type of client we are addressing.
Functional Structure to implement Differentiation focused strategy: With this strategy, the firm sells non-standardized products to customer withunique needs. For this strategy, reporting relationships become complex, but are flexible. Focused strategies should be carefully monitored as the market situation changes. Our main areas are the final product, R&D and Marketing.
Another key to our cultural organization is to have everything under control, the challenge is that nothing can go wrong and all activities we programmed have to befollowed with rigorous control.
Our logo is the following statement: “PABS is going to create for you the best dreams that you didn’t have dreamt yet but that always have been in the deep of your mind”.

Mission, vision, values

Mission statement: PABS HOTEL is a new hotel formula led to an elitist audience. It is an exclusive hotel where the imagination doesn’t have limits. PABS see a greatopportunity to do something different for a specific kind of people by providing them a differential environment to relax than other hotels of the same profile and also differential services.
