Leaves are organs . Layers of the same cells are called tissues. At the top , the epidermis tissue is made up of flat cells .Next comes the inner tissue .It looks like a sponge .air can pass throughspaces in this tissue, at the bottom of the leaf there are tiny openings .they allow air to move in and out of inner tissue .Leaves also have vessel tissues that look like tubes . These tubes carryfood and water through the plant.

The embryo is one of the three main parts of the seed. The embryo is the new plant growing inside the seed and it is protected from the outside by the coat.
Theembryo has parts called seed leaves or cotyledons.
Parts of a plant can grow more or less, based on how much growth hormone they have.

A growth hormone is a chemical made by the own plant, thatcauses that more cells grow and that they grow larger.
Plants move their food (water, sugar and mineral) to their different parts by using two tissues xylem and phloem.
Not all plants have xylemand phloem. Those that do are called vascular plant.

Xylems tissues are tubes that move food from the roots to the leaves. It carries the water and the mineral from the roots to the leaves so thephotosynthesis can be performed.

Phloem tissues are tubes that carry a mixture of sugar and water from the leaves. The mixture flows the phloem to all the other parts of the plant. The sugar is usedfor energy or stored.
Trees bark is made of old, dead phloem cells. Trees are always making new phloem.

In many plants, a flower is the organ that allows the plant to reproduce. Flowers can haveboth male and female parts. The female part or a flower is called Pistil .often it is shaped like a bottle . It has a wide bottom and a narrow neck .A flower can have more than one pistil. The malepart of a flower is called Stamen. A flower may have many stamens.

Pollen is a powder made at the top of the stamen. Pollen cannot move on its own. Something else has to move it.
