THE HORSE
The horse (Equus ferus caballus) 1 2 perissodactyle is a mammal of the family Equidae, herbivorous, quadruped and neck long and arched.A female horse is called theyoung mare, foal or foals if male and fillies if they are females. The breeding and use of horse by man called horse breeding or horse, and its domestication dates back to about3600 BC. C., in the region of Kazakhstan.
Feeding
Feeding a horse is more of an art and a science. What is known of feeding is by observaion. Horses have been fed more or lesswell for centuries by means of conjecture, and some of the rations have had to consume are unprecedented for most riders. Even today, horses from around the world are fed withthings like dried fish, grape leaves, bamboo shoots, etc.. The amazing thing is that they survive. What concerns us is the horse of the United States and as we can feed the mostefficient and economically feasible for the type of work we hope to develop.
Habitat of the horse
The horse is a herd animal, and in the wild, wandering wander constantlygrazing, especially in the early morning and evening when the grass is wet. Their natural diet is a mixture of herbs, leaves and bark. In wildlife, the horse seldom lies, lies up,almost never sleeps as we know, but it takes a series of short naps. If there is danger, they are ready to react with fear and flee.To overcome this wild instinct so strong, thehorse must learn to trust their caregivers, so we must act, in order to increase the confidence of the animal during training and handling.Patience and perseverance are qualitiesneeded by horse owners. Temperament in a horse, is complex and while some animals are easier to handle and learn quickly to do what they ask, others may be more difficult to treat.
