While playing Eschalon: Book I if you hold the TAB button down you will be shown coordinates for where your mouse cursor is, including the name of the map your character is standing in. Some of the answers below come with coordinates.

Farwick wants me to travel to Elderhollow and retrievea bar of mithril from his abandoned house. The blacksmith told me that the mithril is hidden deep inside his wine cellar but after exploring a handful of rooms I can't find anything of interest. What do I need to do?

Mary is worried about her husband Bradon and has asked me to look for him. Where can I findBradon?

When you enter this map from the south head north until you come across a crudely made sign informing you of a shortcut. I have found a hidden pentagramnear Bordertown but it is inactive. How do I activate this pentagram?

How many skill trainers will I encounter during the game, what do they teach and where can I find them?

You will encounter six trainers during the game with nine skills available for training. These skills areCartography, Bow Weapons, Thrown Weapons, Alchemy, Divination, Swords, Cleaving Weapons, Bludgeoning Weapons and Elemental. Your character can be trained if he has less than five points in the appropriate skill or if he doesn't know the skill. Cartography is taught by Garrett in Aridell inside the local tavern. Garrett will only train you in Cartography after you have completed his quest to retrieve hissextant. Bow Weapons and Thrown Weapons are taught by Aaron in Bordertown outside the make-shift tavern. Alchemy is taught by Gamfari and he is also in Bordertown. Gamfari is just northeast from Aaron. The last three trainers can be found in Blackwater. Divination is taught by Father Jonathon inside the church opposite the blacksmith. Swords, Cleaving Weapons and Bludgeoning Weapons are taught bySonya inside her establishment northwest from the blacksmith. Elemental is taught by Siam in the guild branch directly south of the blacksmith.


Father Michael wants me to deliver a Potion of Absolute Restoration to a sick man living in the Salted Coast region. Where can I find this sick man?
