A Clockwork Orange is a 1971 film written, directed and produced by Stanley Kubrick, adapted from Anthony Burgess' 1962 short novel A Clockwork Orange. It features disturbing, violent images,facilitating its social commentary on psychiatry, youth gangs, and other social, political, and economic subjects in a dystopian, future Britain.
Plot: Alex, the main character, is acharismatic, sociopathic delinquent whose interests include classical music (especially Beethoven), rape, and what is termed "ultra-violence". He leads a small gang of thugs, whom he calls his droogs(from the Russian друг, "friend", "buddy"). The film chronicles the horrific crime spree of his gang, his capture, and attempted rehabilitation via controversial psychological conditioning.Alex narrates most of the film in Nadsat, a fractured adolescent slang comprising Slavic (especially Russian), English, and Cockney rhyming slang.
Music: The soundtrack of the movie iscomposed of various Ludwig Van Beethoven symphonies that were edited by Wendy Carlos like the ninth symphony and other songs like “Singing in the rain”.

Costumes: The costumes are composed by a bowler hat, a white suit, suspenders, boots, a genital protector, a bastonbut only alex's baston has a hidden knife inside it.
Special Effects: the movie doesn't have sophisticated special effects only the car scene has a moving camera effect.
Controversy: themovie was very controversial, in the united states the movie was rated x at first, it means that only 18 to 21 years old people can see the film, later it was re released as a R rated movie for17 years old people.
Morality: The film's central moral question is the definition of "goodness" and whether it makes sense to use aversion therapy to stop immoral behaviour.
