Romance, 00 : I barely have time, I would not trust anyone I met in a social situation much, people in this society seem to think it is OK to lie as long as you don't get caught. I am from a different era, I still hear my mother's voice saying nice girls don't call guys orgo hunting for them. Men seem to expect me to hit on them, I wouldn't even know where to start. I don't trust my judgment in that area anyway. I am now working on my self-esteem, which is totally destroyed. Until I get my head right and into the 20th century I don't think I will be involved with anyone, it would not be fair to them. I am a Christian and trust that if God has someone for me He willbring him to me.

Failure: 1972 I lost my virginity to date rape, 1974 I got pregnant and could not complete my Bachelor's degree, 1987 raped by a trusted childhood friend,1988 ex brother-in-law deaths, 1989 death of my ex mother-in-law, 1992 death of my marriage, 1993 My daughter I find on the floor in a corner of my house not wanting anyone to touch her she had been raped by a stranger, I share my experiences with her and later discover that of the six women in our close circle all had been raped at sometime, all of us had decided not to persecute. 1992 my marriagedespite all my efforts was over.

Failure: In 1993, I experienced failure when I started the swim team in high school. I wasn't that good andI was struggling with school and time management. I felt alone and very distant from my friends. I started to date a guy that was on drugs and he treated me badly. I wasn't close to my family and I didn't have a strong Christian faith back then. I decided that I wanted to commit suicide. My best friend at the time talked me through everything and I was fine, but I felt like such a loser forwanting to take own life. I have not experienced such failure and letting people down that I loved so dearly.
