The conversion from daylight saving time tostandard time in Chile differs in 2011 from the standard conversion rule. The daylight saving time does not end at midnight between March 12 and March 13, 2011, but does end at midnight between May 7 andMay 8, 2011 due to a governmental decision.

Solution
To make these changesin time zone Customizing, proceed as follows: Call the maintenance dialog for daylight saving time rules: Call the view "Fixed Summer time rules" in transaction STZBC (or choose the IMG activity forthe basic Customizing of time zones under "General Settings -> Time Zones"). New fixed summer time rule 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 for "CHILE": DST rule: CHILE Valid year: 2010 Str.S.time: 10.10.2010Strt. time: 00:00:00 End SU.time: 08.05.2011 End time: 00:00:00 Save the entry. DST rule: CHILE Valid year: 2011 Str.S.time: 20.08.2011 Strt. time: 00:00:00 End SU.time: 11.03.2012 End time: 00:00:00Save the entry. These changes are available in the attachment of Note 198411 as of Version TZ_2011_V03. Note that you should not delete old entries in the daylight saving time rules (for example, entriesvalid as of 1990), because these entries will still be required for the correct conversion of data prior to 2011.
