Se trata de un hombre que llega a una casa y toca la puerta. Cuando la toca el hombre que habita allí, asecha por una grieta, luego,abre la puerta, y le dice al huésped que pase, con una voz tan extraña como el, ya que era un anciano que vestía de ropa negra, debigote blanco y largo.
El anciano lo invito a pasar, y el siguió adelante para enseñarle al huésped su habitación que se encontraba enel segundo piso; tenia vista agradable, bien iluminado y calentado con una chimenea, luego la cena estaba servida.
El huésped creíaque ya habían disipado sus deudas y temores. Luego regreso a su estado normal y se dio cuenta que estaba hambriento.
