EVELYN’S TRAUMA

What we saw in this story is a wonderful woman, called Evelyn who wanted to escape from the hard lifestyle she used to carry on. We realized that she felt depressed because sheremembered everything about her childhood and the happy times she had when her mother was alive. Unfortunately she didn’t spend a lot of time with her, for this reason she always desired time come backto childhood in order for her to create emotional pictures when her family used to be happy.

She felt alone because her brother died and she wanted to be supported by her mother but she wasn’t therewhen Evelyn needed her, this moment was terrible for her, because her mother who had been her counsellor couldn’t stayed with her, so Evelyn ought to work; in order for her to forget the inconvenientin her whole life; she began to work too, because she demanded to have a better life because she deserved it. While she was working, she had to maintain and take care of the housemates because herfather never gave her money for their sustenance (for Evelyn and her brothers).

To forget the past and start a new life, Evelyn had to work in a store, where she knew a boy, his name was frank; shefelt in love of him because he was friendly, easygoing and he was in love with her. Frank always used to call her Poppens. After a while of dating he proposed her to live with him, she was affair togo away the past and start a new life with frank in Argentina, and she remembered the father’s violence to her mother and she was affair to get married, also she did mind everything people would thinkabout her, because she was an integral woman. Unexpectedly her father her father noticed what was going on between them and he forbade her to see Frank, but she refused to let him go and decided tohave a hidden love relationship with him.
