PERCEIVED QUALITY OF EDUCATIONAL COURSE IN ACUTE DIARRHEAL DISEASE AND GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF COMMUNITY PAEDIATRIC ROTATION

Abstract

Objective. Assessing the quality ofeducational services in the course of acute diarrheal disease and growth and development of Community Pediatrics rotation from the perspective of the student.

Methodology. Transversal,descriptive, quantitative design.
Results. The overall satisfaction level of the students surveyed regarding educational services was 63% for broad satisfaction and 34% satisfaction anddissatisfaction. Overall satisfaction for all dimensions was satisfied and / or satisfaction broad and severe dissatisfaction level was minimal. In dimensions professors, social, administrative,financial information and found that most students are satisfied and / or satisfied fully with the importance given to education service. In the class size, facilities, communication with theuniversity and institutional environment (additional) most students had a moderate-severe dissatisfaction. None of the students were dissatisfied dimensions severe. More than one third of thestudents presented a dissatisfaction mild to moderate to severe in some attributes. Approximately one third of the students presented a dissatisfaction mild to moderate to severe about theirhealth during the Community Pediatrics rotation. Most of the students surveyed were satisfied and / or very satisfied with their stay in the country after completing their studies. Attributes towhich students were given more importance were quality of classes and teachers' capacity for teaching .
Conclusions: Most of the students surveyed were satisfied and / or very satisfied withthe education service, with the choice of rotation, with the operation of the rotation, and their stay in the rotation.
