it seems to me that the technology, like any other human activity can not be perfect and give some errors that could beirreversible

2-Why does the author suggest that the 20th century really started that day in April?

because after a great creation as was the titanic, it was felt that everything was undercontrol and the when ocurred crash, he did wake the society and recognize that science was not perfect
