Introduction
The roots of Six Sigma as a measurement standard in product variation can be traced back to the 1920′s when Walter Shewhart showed that three sigma from the mean is the poinwhere a process requires correction, in the early and mid-1980s with Chairman Bob Galvin at the helm Motorola engineers decided that the traditional quality levels measuring defects in thousands of opportunitiesdidn’t provide enough efficiency. Instead, they wanted to measure the defects per million opportunities. Motorola developed this new standard and created the methodology and needed cultural change associated with it. Six Sigma helped Motorola realize powerful bottom line results in their organization in fact, they documented more than $16 Billion in savings as a result of our Six Sigma efforts. To explore the history of 5S in quality assurance it is necessary to begin with Venetian shipbuilders of the 16th century. The Arsenal of Venice during Elizabethan times was a paragon of efficiency in manufacturing. The enclosed Arsenal employed thousands of shipbuilders and followed an assembly line approach. Different pieces from which a galley was made were prepared in workshops, ready to beassembled into a whole ship.
Story has it that a 1574 visit from King Henry III of France prompted the shipbuilders to build an entire galley in the two hours or so in which Henry attended a banquet in the Arsenal's Great Hall. Whether the ship was sound or not is a matter of conjecture, but it did aptly demonstrate the efficiency of the 5s method since they followed this steps to built the galley. This are the two brief histories for the two themes where are presenting on this document they are introducing the explanation of this two methods that helped the industries to improve the way they manufacture their products.

General Objective
The general objective for this document is to provide the vital information about the six sigma system and the 5s method you will learn the steps thatare necessary to follow to achieve one of this methods, after you read this document you will be able to understand what is the six sigma system and the 5s method and also you will be able to apply this in your life, work, college and in any process or goal you want to achieve.

Specific Objective
The specific objective that we want to share with this document is to show you the basicinformation about this two lean systems which are 5s and six sigma, at the end of this module you will be able to speak about this with confidence and knowledge since we put on this document everything you have to know about this to lean systems.

What is six sigma
The six sigma methodology is a business management strategy that seeks to improve the quality of process outputs by identifying andremoving defects, it is also a discipline that simply means a measure of quality that look for near perfection in simplest words six sigma is anything outside of customers requirements or specifications.
Which are it’s principles
The principles for six sigma methodology are DMAIC and DMADV. The first stands for (define, measure, analyze, improve and control) the second stands for (define, measure, analyze, design and verify) this is an improvement system used to follow new processes or products at the level of six sigma method.
Which are the steps of the process?
The steps are listed by the two principles of six sigma which are the following:
DMAIC: Define, Measure, Improve and Control
This is used when a product or process was already made but is not meeting the customer expectations,DMADV: Define, Measure, Design and verify
The used get results in products and services that consistently meet customer expectations, projected costs, targeted release dates and productions capabilities.

What is 5s method
The 5s method is a Japanese system consisting of five principles to keep any work station clean, labeled, orderly and efficient. This lean manufacturing method encourages...
