One of the worst problems in affect a great part the Africa is famine. It is worrying to think that there are going to be so manymore people to feed when there are already so many starving.

This famine is produced specifically in Somalia, consequently to a drought that severelypunishes. About four million Somalis, Almost half of the population desperately need help. The director of the World Food Programme the ONU, Josette Sheeran,Announced that the organization will launch an airlift to relieve famine affecting the Horn of Africa. The aircraft will land in the agency the Mogadishu,Dolo and wajir, in northern Kenya, to increase the aid received by local populations.

Not sufficient just proposed by the director of the World FoodProgramme the ONU, The ONU secretary general, Ban ki-moon, has been estimated at $ 1,600 million the amount of assistance needed to address the crisis. TheWorld Bank has pledged $ 500 million.
