Fauna
A tropical rainforest is a biome with lush tropics inisothermal climates with abundant rainfall and extraordinary biodiversity. There are many different plant species, but few specimens of each species in each unit area. This type of biome occurs intropical climates, especially in the equatorial belt, and sometimes in the subtropics, in the latter case, for very specific and favorable. The name of rainforest is widely used and the nameof equatorial forest is actually equivalent but defined from the point of view of its latitudinal location.
The forests are home to 2/3 of the entire biodiversity of flora and fauna on theplanet. Remain to be discovered millions of species of plants, insects and microorganisms. Tropical forests are often called "the world's largest pharmacy" because of the large amount of naturalmedicines that come from them. According to scientists, the cure of many diseases today, will be achieved in the future thanks to the wealth of existing plant chemicals in these ecosystems
