Anabaptist
During the protestant reformation the Anabaptists were formed as a group opposing the Roman Catholic Church. Anabaptists are a group of people that separated from the Roman CatholicChurch because it had become corrupted. They originated from Switzerland from the believes of Ulrich Zwingli. They are protestant Christians of the radical reformation. The main believe that the had wasthat they asserted the necessity of adult baptism, rejecting the infant baptism practiced by the Roman Catholic Church. They also had other believes that made the different from the other religions.Anabaptists believed that true baptism required a public confession of both sin and faith and that can only be accomplished as an adult, exercising their free will. They had twelve majorbelieves that explained their purpose as a religion. The first one was a high view of the Bible, meaning that it has supreme authority over everything including the clergy. Secondly, they believed in anemphasis on the New Testament. They also believed in Jesus as the centered of everything. Their forth believe is the believers forming conscious decision to be in the church and fight for itswell-being. Another belief was that the believers needed to care for the discipleship of the church; it is not enough to just believe.

The seventh believe is in the church as a community was fellowshipamong them exists. The separation of the church and the state is another one of their believes. Also Anabaptists’ communities were counter cultured minded. The fact that they refuse to use violence maketheir tenth believe. They are also interested in community service. Anabaptists’ twelfth and final believe was in the missionary work spreading the Gospel throughout the world.

The Anabaptistchurch started out as a group of what many would call rebels, since it began as an opposition to the Roman Catholic Church. Ulrich would’ve never imagine how his believes would change the protestant...
