Resumen (abstract)


The research on Femicide is giving us to know and understand what are the causes and consequences of family violence in Peru. We must understand that this is one of the many consequences that result from family violence, but not the only, but if the most dire. We must understand first of all thatwhen we speak of femicide are talking about a crime, attempt on the life of women mostly within the family, caused by psychological problems or disorders in the psyche of the abuser (The couple, which often not only talking about men), which are the product of a childhood long-suffering, which has been the victim of abuse by the father or witnessed the abuse suffered by the mother at the hands ofhis father. In this paper we will visit the most important points regarding this issue facing today's society, starting from the causes that lead to this disastrous result such as family violence, through the legal issues that condemn these acts against women and laws that protect it from suffering these abuses, coming to define the concept of femicide, and sentencing laws, which exist againstthis scourge in Peru.
