Essay: The Giver

In a random community the things are different with anormal community. Jonas, the main character of “the giver” passed to a twelve that means he was assigned to a job. He can even imagine the job he will be assigned, but it will change his lifeforever. Not everyone can do the job of a Receiver one has to have courage for the most painful and terrible memories. Jonas was slowly absorbing wisdom that changed his minds about which was different fromall the community except for the Giver, the only person that understand him. Now, Jonas knew he was different from the others. The Giver is a great book because of its theme, the use of language thecommunity and the way feelings are expressed.
One of the reasons why The Giver is a great book is because its theme. The theme suggests one should follow the heart if one thinks thatsomething is wrong. Jonas always followed the rules. He was a good kid that never made troubles, but when he became a Receiver he changed his mind about everything that community does its wrong, sometimescruel. Jonas decided to scape with Gabriel, a baby that has been living with him. He starts a new life in the elsewhere. He followed his heart.
The second reason why The Giver is a greatbook is because the use of language in the community. The language in the community is very formal. They have to show respect. For example, one has to show the biggest respect of the people of thehouse of the old, they are considered as important people. Also, one has to apologies formally. When someone makes a mistake one has to apologies and the other one has to accept the apology.The last reason why The Giver is a great book is because they express their feelings in the different ways.
