Art Nouveau es una filosofía [ 2 ] y el estilo de arte, arquitectura y artes aplicadas , especialmente las artes decorativas .-que fueron más populares durante1890-1910 [ 3 ] El nombre de "Art Nouveau" es francés y significa "arte nuevo". Se conoce también como Jugendstil , pronunciado [ju ː gn̩tʃti ː l] , alemán para "estilo de lajuventud", llamado así por la revista Jugend , que promovió, y en Italia, la libertad Stile de la tienda por departamentos en Londres, Libertad y Co., que popularizó lael estilo. Una reacción de arte académico del siglo 19, que se inspiró en las formas naturales y estructuras, no sólo en flores y plantas, sino también en las líneascurvas. Arquitectos trataron de armonizar con el entorno natural. También se considera una filosofía de diseño de muebles, que fue diseñado de acuerdo a todo el edificioy forman parte de la vida ordinaria.

A reaction to academic art ofthe 19th century, it was inspired by natural forms and structures, not only in flowers and plants, but also in curved lines. Architects tried to harmonize with thenatural environment. It is also considered a philosophy of design of furniture, which was designed according to the whole building and made part of ordinary life.
