Robert Mc Culloch is a millionaire. In the 1960s, he built his own dream town in the Arizona desert, beside a lake fed by the coloroda river. But after he finished it and named the town Lake Havasu city, and filled it with streets and houses and golf courses and all, he still did not feel satisfied. The city needed something else. Robert Mcculloch thought the London bridge would be nice.
So he wrote a check for two and a half million dollars, and he bought the London Bridge
He shipped it over from the River Thames in London, England, every stone of it and put it up in the Arizona desert. However the bridge didn´t have a river to cross, so Robert Mc Culloch made the Colorado river flow under the London Bridge. The whole projectcost him about $7.5 million.
