Ramón "Ramoncito" Morales Higuera (born October 10, 1975 in La Piedad, Michoacán) is a Mexican international football player, currently playingfor Chivas de Guadalajara as Captain, as a Midfielder, and for the Mexican National Team.
He made his international debut for the Mexican National Team in July 12, 2001, playing against Brazil. Moralesplayed with the Mexican Squad at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea-Japan, were he appeared in four matches. He also played four games in the 2005 Confederations Cup, in Germany and five games inMexico's qualification matches for the 2006 World Cup. Morales played in three matches in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Hugo Sanchez, Mexico's new coach, has once again called upon Ramon's services. He hasbeen a good asset in his last three appearances with the team, playing in the Left Wingback position aiding fellow national teammate Andres Guardado in the attack. He scored an absolutely sensationalfreekick in Mexico's 2-0 defeat of Brazil in the first round of the Copa America
