“FIESTAS PATRONALES” INFORM

Date: Tuesday, April 23, 2013.
In this festival of music in English that took place in the theater of the college San Gabriel many of the bands were fromdifferent colleges like: “Las Mercedarias”, “Johan Strauss”, “America Latina”, “Militar”, who were invited by our school, to participate in a "battle of the bands" in which only a college be thewinner, during presentations I could appreciate various musical instruments such as: guitar, electric piano, violin, cello, electric bass, electric guitar, human voice, bongos, drums.
All these bands didnot play any song because the theme music to play was related to the 80's, it was here where we saw all the ability of the bands to demonstrate their creativity and talent. At the end all the bandsperformed; it was time to announce a winner.
First place won our college the "San Gabriel", with incredible presentation in which students demonstrated their ability to play difficult songs. In thesecond place the college “America Latina”, the band also proved to be a wonderful band.
Finally all students were happy to see that his school took the victory. But for me there was no winner becauseall the bands were excellent and no band was better than another.
