Fight the good
"Soldiers - tomorrow morning we will go forth to battle ... your unworthy minister will march with you, invoking God's aid in thefight ... need I exhort you to fight the good fight for your homesteads, and for your wives and children!"
This phrase was used by the reverend JoabProut (The words are from the Bible, Timothy 6.12) when the independence of the United States was ongoing and the republic forces would fight in thebattle of Brandywine, a phrase that was used to inspire people to fight against a tyrant empire.
Analyzing this, we can take this phrase to start the goodfight in our lives, as students we have the responsibility to plant good values in ourselves and never surrender because we are learning something thatmany would like to learn and they can’t due different situations.
We have to keep in mind there is a whole world of opportunities outside and we haveto be prepared for everything.
The school is not going to give you the perfect job or easy money but knowledge and tools that will make you capable totake difficult decisions and to solve real problems in your professional and personal life, saying this the school will open so many doors for you and isyour choice to let them open to obtain a better future for your life because as we know is very hard to stay on this path sometimes.
So hang in therebecause this fight worth it, try to learn everything as you can and never forget that the effort and dedication always have good rewards.
