Filosofía de lanaturaleza o periodo cosmológico: En toda la primera etapa de la filosofía antigua, hasta antes de los sofistas, el problema central de que se ocupan los filósofos es la naturaleza; por eso, Aristóteles habría de llamarlos los físicos, los investigadores de la naturaleza.
