MSF FUNDING
The inter-governmental organization’s income comes both from private sources and intuitions.
The 89% of their funding is provided by MSF partners,particular collaborators and social collectives who represent the 4,5 million individual donors around the world. The remaining funds come from governments and international institutions like EU(European Union).
Thanks of the fact that MSF raises most of its income from private sources, they can act according to their principles of operational independence and flexibility which ensure that thespending go to humanitarian reasons.
In Spain, 93,1% of the funds come from particular donations and the 6,9% remainder belongs from national and international organizations.

MSF SPENDING
EveryMSF national office is a non-profit organization. 82% of their resources are allocated to their humanitarian activities and campaigns. The remaining 18% is spent on management and administration andalso on fundraising.
In Spain, 87,3% of the total spending is assigned to the social mission and the 12,7% represents the administrative expenses and fundraising.
The funds obtained by MSF members andparticular donors are distributed according to the main projects and emergencies. But there is an exception: the affected funds which are the donations and subsidies they received in order to fund aspecific cause and which are exclusive designated to that cause.
The total expenditure has a minimum of three months and a maximum of twelve reserved. This allows them to respond immediately to anemergency without having to wait for further funds.
