RESUMEN Y PALABRAS CLAVE

El desempeño funcional en las actividades de la vida diaria de niños con Parálisis Cerebral Infantil es afectado de diferentes modos, debido a la diversidad de manifestaciones clínicas del daño cerebral. OBJETIVO: Observar la evolución del paciente con diplejía espástica tras una intervención quirúrgica y posterior tratamiento con elConcepto Bobath , marcando unos objetivos encaminados a una futura mejoría en la funcionalidad de la marcha de la paciente y con ello una mejor calidad de vida, determinando así el efecto del Concepto Bobath tras la intervención quirúrgica en un caso de Diplejia espástica METODOLOGÍA: Se realizó el estudio sobre una niña con diplejía espástica a la que se le realiza una valoración de fisioterapia prey post intervención. Se le hace una terapia por semana de una hora. RESULTADOS: Se consiguieron los tres objetivos marcados en las 5 semanas de tratamiento que fueron: mantener la bipedestación con extensión de cadera, pies a la altura de su cintura escapular (15cm entre maléolos aproximadamente) durante 10 segundos, realizar trasferencias de peso. Alcanzar objetos a ambos lados. Desplazar sucentro de gravedad 5 cm y caminar distancias comunitarias pero solo superficies planas (no puede ir por las aceras, terrenos irregulares o las escaleras sin ayuda de otra persona). CONCLUSIÓN: El tratamiento intensivo con el Método Bobath pre y post intervención quirúrgica, marcando unos objetivos a conseguir en un determinado tiempo, ayuda a la paciente a que los resultados de la intervención seanmas favorables y pueda conseguir un patrón de marcha funcional que le ayudará a tener una mejor calidad de vida. Este tratamiento ayuda a nuestra paciente a mejorar y modificar patrones posturales y tono anormal y facilitar patrones motores más normales, los cuales pueden permitir al niño una mayor variedad de habilidades funcionales

ABSTRACT The functional performance in activities of daily living of children with cerebral palsy is affected in different ways, due to the diversity of clinical manifestations of brain damage. OBJECTIVE: To observe the evolution of patients with spastic diplegia after surgical intervention and subsequent treatment with the Bobath Concept, sea-Candoobjectives aimed at a future improvement in func-tion of the progress of the patient and thus better quality of life-ending of the effect of Bobath Concept after the surgical intervention in a case of spastic diplegia METHODOLOGY: The study was performed on a child with spastic diplegia which he underwent a physiotherapy assessment pre and post intervention. It makes therapy an hour a week. RESULTS:We got the three goals scored in the 5 weeks of treatment were: to maintain standing with hip extension, feet up to his girdle (approximately 15cm between malleoli) for 10 seconds, perform transfers weight. Reach objects on both sides. Move your center of gravity 5 cm and community walking distances but only flat surfaces (can not go on the sidewalks, uneven terrain or stairs without assistanceof another person). CONCLUSION: Intensive treatment with the Bobath method before and after surgery, setting targets to achieve a de-over time, helps the patient to the results of the intervention are more favorable and can get a walking pattern functional that will help you get a better quality of life.
