Marketing Mix: 4P’S
Nowadays, the competitionbetween industries is very hard. In fact, in order to get profits and grow as a company, each industry is struggling to stay ahead of their competition. In addition, the development of globalization hasbeen increasing the variety of transactions in products, services and international Capital flow. Therefore, international trades have been opened. For that reason, industries are constantly looking fora variety of ways to sell and promote their services. Marketing management is a very important department in a company because it will determine costumers’ needs and find out the best way to satisfythem as well as create profits for the company. That is why is very important to say that industries should: “construct a marketing program that delivers superior value and builds profitablerelationships, creating customer delight“. (Gul Polat1, Umit Donmez pg. 269). With this stage, some companies work with marketing strategies by implementing the parameters of the Marketing Mix theory, whichinvolves product, price, place and promotion.
Referring to the product, it is the physical good or service offered to the costumer. It is the heart of the business. The construction of thisparameter includes the product itself and the service provided by the company. It also includes the design, the packaging, the features and so on. The construction of the product is very difficult because thebusiness has to face different steps and has to be in a continuous research and investigation in order to satisfy the costumers. However, this process is not easy because sometimes thedifferentiation of guests are not able to asses until the product is finished and materialized.
