General information
Paris is in France located at 48ºN, 2ºE. It´s the capital city of France.
It was founded in 508 by Clodoveo.
In France the official currency is Euro. It has 12,089,098inhabitants and the local people speak French.
In Paris in summer it’s hot and sunny with temperatures from 15ºC to 30ºC and in winter it`s cold and rainy with temperatures of as low as 0ºC.
There,people travel by Metro.

Culture and tradition
The most popular types of music here are electronic music, classical music, jazz, gospel, pop, rock and hip hop.
Some typical dances are ballet andvals.
Some of the most famous festivals are; Paris Plage from July 20th to August 19th during these days people celebrate pride march and Paris Quartier from July 14th to August 11th.

Typical foodThe typical food is Ratatouille. Besides people love Tarte Tatin and the typical drink is wine.

Places to visit
People can visit Louvre museum and they can see Leonardo da Vinci and Picassopaintings. In the museum there are 35,000 pieces on display and there is a sculpture called Serapeum of Saqqara. This sculpture is awesome.
If you go to the museum you can´t miss La Gioconda paintingbecause it´s interesting.
The Louvre is open on Mondays, Thursdays and at weekends from 9pm to 6am. It´s open on Wednesday, Friday from 9am to 9:45am. On Tuesdays it is closed. A ticket to enter themuseum costs €10.
