Frankenstein
Frankenstein is a science fiction novel, that tells the story of Dr. Victor Frankenstein and the experiments he worked on. Victor’s goal and dream was to givelife to something dead. The novel can be seen as an emotional novel because although it is not a story of two lovers, it is about Victor’s and the monster’s feelings. This novel is about an individualthat is physically ugly, but inside is a creature with a good heart. This is one of the characteristics that distinguished Romanticism, seeing something ugly as something beautiful.
Some peopleonly take into account the love of a partner but not the love that a parent may need. A child needs love to grow up with good moral beliefs. Love is a feeling that is necessary for the development of aperson.
The lack of love may turn a person into something evil or good. In the case of "Frankenstein" the monster was created based on research, victor’s purpose wasn’t to have someone to take care ofor love and after being formed, its creator and society rejected the monster. Even though the monster had woken up with goodness and love, the hate he received from other people and its creator ledhim to become violent and harm the human species that despised him.
The aggressiveness of the monster was only the consequence to the lack of affection, and attention he wasn’t given. This situationmay apply to real life as well, the children who later on become criminals might be the product of an unwanted pregnancy. From birth to about 13 years old, a child needs as much love and patience as itcan get but something essential to a child’s life is the guidance the parents give. Human beings as individuals are good, no one is actually evil unless they have a mental issue which causes them tokill, rob, commit crime etc. every human being has its needs, we judge the man who robbed a bank but never wonder why he did it, the man could’ve had an ill child yet we just see what he’s done,...
