Friends

Friendship is a life line. Connecting with like minded people who genuinely care for one another is a gift that we all take for granted too often. Friends are people we feel good with; some make uslaugh, some hear us out and really listen to our hearts, others support us when the going through the tough and still others just hang with us when we need down time.
A true friend holds up amirror in which we see ourselves. They are the ones who show us our strengths when all we see is weakness; they point out our good character traits, like courage and loyalty when we are down on ourselves.They remind us of our past accomplishments and motivate us on for our future. They build into our lives and we are richer for having spent time with them. We come away with a stronger sense of “self”because we have been together.
It is so easy to get wrapped up in our own lives -- our own needs, wants, and life difficulties. I have been blessed with the gift of true friendship; a friendship thatchanges as we change, yet always remains honest and loving… offering a reflection of who we are and want to be.

We have been through some difficult times in our lives, each one supporting theother. When we are too insecure to trust ourselves to do what is right, we always have each other. I don't know how I could have gotten through so much already without my friends.

It doesn't matterif we agree with each others' lifestyles or even some choices we make, we always offer a listening ear and, when needed, a bit of honest and caring advice. We provide each other with a reflection ofwho we are, and encourage each other to be the best person we can be. To put aside our own needs, wants, and life difficulties and do what is right -- right for not just ourselves but for everyone wetouch.
