It was a normal day at the base. The military were training so hard. Neon, an energic and young wolf soldier saw something at the distance and went to take a look. “It’s the red army!” he yelled.When he was running back to the camp to alert the base, he received a bullet in the tail and in the paw and fell down. Chaos ensued, everyone started yelling -fallen man- and running for their gear andweapons, his comrades rushed to help Neon and took him to the paramedics, then they spread out and hid behind the barricades, throwing grenades to where they found the little wounded wolf. CommanderMaincob sent a messenger to bring their best sniper, a resilient blue wolf called Minun, but the red army launched another wave, now accompanied by tanks. “Where’s Neon?” asked the sniper. “At theinfirmary” replied the Commander. “He got wounded, nothing serious”. “Well, I need him, he’s my spotter”, said the blue wolf. As they talked, Neon appeared before them, now all patched up and armed.“You two will hide up in the hills and give us some covering fire until reinforcements arrive” – said Maincob.

They did as he ordered, saving enough lives to get a medal. Somehow, the base managed totake out both tanks, but a lone mortar round hit nearby and crippled the Commander’s leg.

“We have to retreat, sir. Reinforcements aren’t available.” Said the radio man.

“Will this day ever end?”- murmured Maincob

“What are your orders, sir?” - asked a soldier

“Pack your stuff, soldiers. We have only a few minutes before they strike again and we cannot afford another wave” answeredthe Commander

Right when they were about to leave, they spotted several light vehicles coming. “They know we’re leaving”, said Neon.

“Apparently so” said the Commander We’re blowing up this place.Set up some charges right next to the fuel tanks”.
