The SAT is a test most students take before going to college. It is divided into 3 sections, math, reading and writing. Thehighest grade you can score is a 2400 making a perfect test and scoring 800 in each of the categories. The average grade is 1500 scoring 500in each of the section being higher than 50% of the people who take it and below another 50%. Thanks to score choice students can choose whichSAT scores you want to send to college. You choose to send the highest score helping you alleviate the stress of doing poorly on one of thetimes you take it. The SAT contains 10 sections of which 9 will be graded the other section is a experimental section to test future SATquestions.
In the critical reading section you will be asked to analyze short and long passages as well as completing sentences that have one ortwo blanks in them. In sentence completion choosing the most precise and complete answer is very important because some of them might be alike.In reading comprehension, students will be asked to read a passage and to answer questions after that. Questions can be directly answered bylooking at the text or indirectly answered after thinking an analyzing what has been read.
The math section is divided into multiple choiceand 10 grid questions, which are the only 10 questions that are not multiple choices. Questions are arranged in increasing difficulty.
