GAME OF THORNES ESSAY: DIFFERENCES BETWEEN TELEVISION PROGRAM
AND ORIGINAL BOOK VERSION.



Is easy to find clear differences betweenthose two versions. In the written one, all the information and stories are told and organized in the most representative characters of the thing that will take place along the chapter.
But, in theother one, in the television series, all stories and a bigger amount of characters interact and act, involving more than one story per chapter, maybe due to the action and interactive requirements,that have to be supplied to be a successful TV program.
Based on this big structural difference, is remarkable the fact that in the book, never in those two chapters take place the ones that belong tothe Targaryen House more than the one where they are mentioned by lord stark talking with his son Bran; whereas that in the TV program Daenerys and her brother appear in different times along thechapters, while they discuss about the pact they have done with the Dothraki's culture Leader.

We also can highlight other different details in the two first chapters of the book and the televisionseries. Is clear that, since the first chapter in the TV’s version, people refer to the other creatures how lives in the Kingbeyond-the-Wall as the white walkers, different situation, with the book, wherealong the chapters creatures are called as Wildlings.
Another insignificant difference among those versions of the story is the age of Lord Stark son, Bran. In the book makes clear that it was theseventh year of the Bran’s life, being differentiated that in the TV program, Bran’s mum in a short phrase let us know his age of ten.

Maybe due to its nature, the television series has to condensemore stories and facts by chapter and has to accelerate the time where the things take place; making interact more characters in the same time, that’s what happens with the Targaryens, the Dothraki...
