Gas Pipeline: A time bomb
The gas pipeline is a steel pipe used to transport a gaseous fuel in large scales, from one place to another. This is a structure in the building plans in our island that is in controversy to enhance savings in 3% light, very little no? Also this project is all advantages and disadvantages,but the disadvantages are more dominating. This represents a threat to the life of the people and ecosystems as well. Some of the most important bad effects that this could be done would be in the aspect: social, economic and environmental.
The first bad effects of gas pipeline is in the social aspect. Within the social aspect we can find both physical and psychological consequences. Physicallywe could say that many times this type of construction on a larger scale affect a group of people, which are often dismissed by the government to carry out this project, this is called de-urbanization. The reason why these people removed from their homes because the construction is passing over or very close to certain communities, which is very dangerous for health and safety. For example herein Puerto Rico the people who would be affected by the project would Ponce, Penuelas, Salinas, Santa Isabel and Juana Diaz. People are left homeless by a project that not bring any benefit. Within the psychological aspect we can find as the elderly people and the children.Virtually the elderly people that are often educated about it are few , because that only see the media informs and often thisis not the best way to educate themselves, because the little insensitivity that they have sometimes generates fear in these people is worth recalling, in support of what I mean, the unfortunate events that occurred in Puerto Rico with the explosion of Umberto Vidal in 1996 that killed countless numbers of people. Many people think that whit the installation of this tube occur a same event like the1996 and for that people fear. Another example would be the families

that are removed by the government for this type of project, may have many psychological problems such as: sadness, courage, they can perform a type of violent act because "the cause of a project that brings no benefit exorbitant I have to start from zero", basically that's the thought of these people.Also when this family have children the case are more difficult because they are more fragile or sensitive, they come sad when they have to leave their homes for their memories, friends, school etc..
The second bad effects of gas pipeline is in the Economic aspect. Within the economics aspect we can found on the public consequences and in government. Some of the citizens who are severely affectedfinancially are the people who live near of gas pipeline tube. Living near an area as dangerous as this, where your life is in danger, because the gas leak can cause an explosion destroying your life, the value of the house tends to decrease, this mean that the valuation of your home, when you trying to sell, will drop significantly because it is in a dangerous area or high risk. Citizens, too,farmers are affected economically because their crops are contaminated, then this would lead to the purchase of more crops and even the most demanding care to the area and also reduced earnings by former scarcity of food. Farmers are also the daily bread is their crops, so if their crops are affected , how they gonna feed their families? For the government in different parts of the world this projectof pipeline has great economic and time investment. This requires strict maintenance and care, not everyone can do, but are people who really know about it and the goverment have to contract this people and pay for that they do. An incident which blew a section of a gas line in south of San Francisco, California, killed 4 people dead and several injured is estimated that less than 50 could not...
