Pillaro is a small city located in the south- center of Ecuador, it has a big variety of activities but the tourist activity is not the main activity of this town even so tourists therecan enjoy of some tourist activities.
Visitors who come to Pillaro should be adventures, this city has multiple tourist activities all year, beautiful places to visit, such as waterfalls in BaquerizoMoreno, bird watching, walking, trekking, fishing in San Miguelito, Presidente Urbina, and the two most important tourist attraction the national park “Llanganates” lacated in San Jose de Poalo and“la diablada pillareña” celebrated from 1 to 6 December every year.
The National Park “Llanganates” offers you the most complete range of ecotourism activities that a place may have. A place withlegends, the most kwon the legend of Atahualpa and his hidden treasure.
Enjoy the nature practicing activities that don’t damage our environment as camping, trekking, fishing, walk, boating, excursions tothe mountain “Cerro Hermoso”, bird watching;, when you come there you can feel the peace that the nature offers, walking between bush you will find small but refreshing waterfalls.
