Homosexuals Should Have the Same Rights as Non-Homosexuals
Homosexual couples are part of our society and that is something that wemust recognize and assume; they are people like everyone else and are entitled to have the same rights respected and granted even though many people consider them different and also controversial.Homosexuals should have the same rights as non-homosexuals because there is no reason to discriminate against people for their sexual orientation; they work and pay taxes like everybody else, so,therefore, they deserve to be treated equally in every way; and that way we can avoid people’s suicides for not feeling accepted.
First, homosexual’s couples should have the same rights as non-homosexualsbecause there is no reason to discriminate against people for their sexual orientation. What if this kind of orientation is genetic? A person being born homosexual is a feeling that is not easy toignore. They need our society to give them rights to have Medicare, to get married and be responsible for their partner when they are in the hospital. They should have all the benefits thatnon-homosexuals enjoy. According to “Gay marriage to supreme court? More likely after latest Rejections of DOMA,” “On May 31, the first circuit in Boston ruled in favor of same-sex couples in Massachusetts,challenging what they argued was the discriminatory nature of DOMA in allowing heterosexual couples to enjoy full federal benefits while denying those same benefits to married couples who are gay andlesbian.”
Second, homosexuals should have the same rights as non-homosexuals because they work and pay taxes like everybody else, so, therefore, they deserve to be treated equally in every ways. Thisparticular condition does not hurt anyone, and being gay is not against the natural law and is also not a mental disorder.
