Windows 7- ACTIVITY11
Description: Do the following actions for Windows 7 and answer what is requested.
1. Click on the “START MENU”- Documents. In the left pane, click on “COMPUTER”. Identify the disk units andwrite:
a. Amount of installed Hard Disks: 2
b. Storage capacity of each Hard Disk: 452 GB.
c. Used space: 191 GB
d. Available space: 163 GB
2. In the left pane, clickon “LIBRARIES”. Mention:
e. Amount of libraries: 4
f. Name of each of the libraries: Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos
3. In the left pane, click on “FAVORITES”. Mention:
g.Amount of files on this folder: None
h. Name of the files: None
4. Click on “LIBRARIES – DOCUMENTS”. Mention:
i. Amount of folders: 8
j. Amount of files: 24
5. Add a newfolder with the name of “Exercise 1”
6. Click on “START MENU”. In the search box type “Notepad”. It is shown the found files. Click on “Notepad”.
7. It is displayed the “Notepad”. Maximize thewindow. Write your name, group, and roll number, and then open the “FILE MENU – SAVE AS”. Select and open the folder “Exercise 1” and assign the name “MyData” and click on “SAVE”.
8. Close the“Notepad” and follow the sequence “START MENU – DOCUMENTS – EXERCISE 1”. Observe that it is shown the file “MyData”. Click with the right button of the mouse on the file “MyData”. It is displayed thecontextual menu. Click on “Create Shortcut”.
9. Click again with the right button of the mouse on the file “MyData” and select “Copy”. In the right pane, click with the right button and select“Paste”
10. Now there are shown 3 files, like in the next figure:
