* General message
The general message is thatwe must be positive and peaceful about our live. Actually it has created a misconception about reggae that is thought to talk about drugs, smoking marijuana and the like.
The truth is that only afew bands and few issues have used reggae music to spread these ideas. The main form of dissemination of reggae was through the Rastafarianism religion (which does not mean having dreadlocks in herhair). This religious idea goes back to the ancient kingdom of Ethiopia in North Africa, of great power in the era before Christ, which many specialists and Rastafarians themselves, was the source ofKing Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. Thus many Rastafarians connect with the Jews and the lineage of David, Jesus Christ, and thus the origin of Judaism and Christianity.
