George Simmel, Sociabilidad e Interacción. Aportes a la Ciencia de la Comunicación George Simmel, Socialization and Interaction Dra. Marta Rizo García (mrizog@yahoo.com) Grupo hacia una Comunicología Posible Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México (México) Abstract Within theproposal of the Group towards a Possible Communicology (GUCOM), the interaction is considered like the communicologycal dimension that recovers in greater measurement the original sense of the term communication. On the other hand, Phenomenological Sociology -with Schütz, Berger and Luckmann to the frontand Social Psychology -with the proposals of the Symbolic Interactionism, Cognitive Psychologyand the Social Representations of Moscovici- constitute two of the scientific historical sources with smaller presence in the communication field. Although George Simmel cannot strictly be located within these sources of knowledge, we considered that his work constitutes a complete proposal to understand interaction like foundation of the social relations. In this tenor, the present article has asintention to review the work of Simmel from this specific approach: Communicology. It is not only tried to review what said Simmel about the interaction, but that going beyond, we will try to see what of everything what said the author on this dimension of the Communicology can help to make complex the understanding of the term interaction and, therefore, communication. The article is divided inthree parts. In the first place some majorities are exposed on the concept of interaction and its relation with the communication, from a specific approach that it retakes, fundamentally, the contributions of Phenomenological Sociology and Social Psychology. Next the simmelian reading around the interaction is reviewed with thoroughness. And we concluded with a reflective note that tries to giveaccount of the heuristic potential of this author, little recognized in the field of the communication. Resumen Dentro de la propuesta del Grupo hacia una Comunicología Posible, la interacción es considerada como la dimensión comunicológica que recupera en mayor medida el sentido originario del término comunicación. Porotra parte, la Sociología Fenomenológica -con Schütz, Berger y Luckmann al frente- y la Psicología Social -con las propuestas del interaccionismo simbólico, la psicología cognitiva y las representaciones sociales de Moscoviciconstituyen dos de las fuentes científicas históricas con menor presencia en el campo académico de la comunicación. Aunque George Simmel no puede ser ubicado estrictamentedentro de estas fuentes de conocimiento, consideramos que su obra constituye una propuesta holística para comprender a la interacción como fundamento de las relaciones sociales. En este tenor, el presente artículo tiene como propósito revisar la obra de Simmel desde este enfoque específico: la Comunicología. No se trata sólo de revisar qué dijo Simmel acerca de la interacción, sino que yendo másallá, trataremos de ver qué de lo que dijo el autor sobre esta dimensión de la comunicología puede ayudar a complejizar la comprensión del término interacción y, por ende, comunicación. El artículo está dividido en tres partes. En primer lugar se exponen algunas generalidades sobre el concepto de interacción y su relación con la comunicación, desde un enfoque que retoma fundamentalmente lasaportaciones de la Sociología Fenomenológica y la Psicología Social. A continuación se revisa con detenimiento la lectura simmeliana en torno a la interacción. Y concluimos con un apunte reflexivo que pretende dar cuenta del potencial heurístico de este autor, poco reconocido en el campo de la comunicación.
