Germany A Totalitarian Regime?
The Nazis and Hitler didn’thave a fixed ideology. They first wanted something and then they would change it into another concept or take the idea to a further stage. For example Nazis after getting rid of political oppositioncontinued for persecution but this time it was for people who were innocent, like the Jews. He also told the people he would help the country, but helping it had to be done by war. Adolf Hitler didn’thave one idea in his mind; he had several. Germany got rid of all political opposition including the communist party. Germany was build up of just one mass party which was the Nazis. Nazism in Germanyshowed part of the totalitarian rule.
The police control in Germany is seen as totalitarian. During Hitler’s regime the police was terrifying. It was one of the most striking violence in that time.The police intimidated people, especially the Jews and the people who were seen as subhuman. The Gestapo, who were the secret police of the state, and the SS were the ones who caused intimidation. Ifthey were sent to shoot or menace they would go and do it. Hitler and the Nazis had complete control of the arms. The arms were not maintained still; they were going to use it as their munitions forwar. These examples of the arms show how weak Germany was. The arms were going to be used for a war that people didn’t new about it until it took place.
