FIVE PITFALLS OFREQUIREMENT WRITING
Source: Malco Design & Deliver Group blog posting
Have you ever heard the term, “The Fuzzy Front End of New product Development”? Everyone who has spent time working in the early stages of new product development has experienced this. The task of sorting truth from fiction in market research reports, jobsite visit reports, and end user interviews is an acquired skill.Translating what the customer really needs and wants into a written document that the development team can design around is an underappreciated skill. NOTES FROM THE COMMUNITY MANAGER
Kim Johnson, PMP, NPDP – INPD CoP Community Manager
A New Year is upon us and we are working hard as theINPD CoP to provide more Member Value benefits for you in addition to continuing our webinars. This year we have started a Product Development Basics webinar series that is off to a good start and I can tell by the people logged on that we have a lot of new faces. There was also a great chat on the line about how to use PM processes that would encourage/enable innovation within our organizations. We have taken this chat over to the INPD LinkedIn group for continuing discussion, so please join us in this discussion. We have included the webinar presenter as part of that discussion as well. Also, watch for our new Coffee Corner feature and in addition we will be partnering with the Sales and Marketing CoP on doing book reviews that would be of interest to both our communities. If you liveNorth stay warm and for those in CoP Leadership positions we hope to catch up again in person in San Diego in late May. Creative regards,
