Second Conditional: unreal possibility or dream

|If |I studied for the exam |I would pass the exam |In “The second conditional” We are thinking about a particular condition in the future, and the result of this condition. Notice that we are thinking about a futurecondition. We use the past simple tense to talk about the future condition. We use WOULD + base verb to talk about the future result. The important thing about the second conditionalis that there is an unreal possibility that the condition will happen. you need to use WERE for all the Personal pronouns...... in the condition with past simple only if youuse the verb to be.....
Form:

If + PP + Simple Past +, PP + would + Infinitive verb

If I saved enough money ,I would travel around Mexico.

If Luis forgot hishomework, Luis would be in troubles.

If I were rich, I would give all the money to the charity.

If I went to Brazil , I would visit my friend Ronaldinho

If Megan Fox were mygirlfriend, I would be happy.

If she studied a lot, she would get a good grade

If she were pretty, She would go to the cinema with me.

If They played soccer very well,They would play in Barcelona FC.

If We ate many fast food, We would be fat.

If You had a car, She would go out with you.

If She were with me, I would be happy....Negative (-)

If you want to use a negative condition, you need to use "didn't"

If I didn´t go to Brazil, I would be sad.

If She didn´t work in USA, She would be in Mexico
