Natural Disasters and their amplitude.
I.S.U
There are many types of natural disasters; I’m going to talk about, Tornadoes,Hurricanes, Tsunamis, and Volcanoes. These natural forces are called disasters because they kill a lot of people around the year and destroy many places. The word Natural means the force is beingproduce by the mother earth, no living thing can create this type of force, and the world disaster is because they harm a lot of people and a lot of cities around the world. Each of these types are createdby different reasons, these reasons are going to be explained during the presentation.
Tornadoes:
A tornado is a violently rotating column of air, incontact with the ground, for a vortex to be classified as a tornado; it must be in contact with both the ground and the cloud base. Tornadoes for in a giant rotating thunderstorm called a super cell. Mosttornadoes form from thunderstorms. Warm, moist winds flow up (and a little east due to the Coriolis Force) from the Gulf of Mexico. Air becomes unstable because warm air rises and continues to risedue to the heat from the sun. The air cools as it rises higher and condenses into clouds. A cold front containing cooler, drier air from the north in Canada flows south focusing the rising air. TheRockies also help divert northern winds eastward towards the flat plains in central US. Interactions between air at different altitudes causes storms, lightning, rain, air circulation, and strengtheningthe rotating updraft. A column of spinning air can form, which narrows and spins faster and extends higher into the storm. Scientist are still looking for the answer of why tornadoes form and how theystop. A tornado is unpredictable. Most tornadoes happen in the U.S; this zone is called the tornado alley. Tornado winds are the fastest winds on Earth.
Volcanoes:
A volcano is a mountain that...
