Final Work
Do you know how much people die for starving in one day? And in one year and how many are kids younger than five years?
More or less 35 millions of people die for starving in oneyear and 6 million are kids younger than five years, and just 25.000 die every day. Nowadays the poorest continent in the world is Africa because is where you can find more underdeveloped countries,Asia and South America are the continents in way to development.
You can find poor people all over the world, doesn’t matter if you are in an African village or if you are in New York. But it is morecommon to find them in these kind of places like Africa, India…The main reason of that exist poor people is because our world lives in a capitalism economic system which make some people earn muchmoney but at the same time creates much poverty in other many people.
So, with this system we can prove that the human person is selfish because he chooses first his own benefit instead the socialprogress. But not everyone is similar; many people try to help other people who haven’t enough resources to have a middle style life. For example ONGs like “Intermón Oxfam”, “Save the children”… or otherlocal organizations which ask to the people some food or old clothes. It’s true that we are helping people, who haven’t anything, from our country or from other countries but it‘s not enough. We helpa little bit but the real people, who can change the situation, don’t do anything important because they won’t have any benefit from that.
It is for these ONGs exist, to make a better effort fromthe people who want to help, because some people prefer to help other people instead to be a selfish person.
I’m going to talk about “Intermón Oxfam” and its actions in different countries all overthe world.
Intermón was borned the 11 of August of 1956 and, in 1997 it joined in Oxfam International, which is the biggest independent ONG in the world and works with other 3.000 local...
