Global warming

It is the phenomenon of the increase in the temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans in recent decades. Air pollutants accumulate in the atmosphere forming an increasingly thicklayer, trapping the sun's heat and causing global warming.
The main pollutants are carbon dioxide (generated by power generation plants based on coal) and carbon dioxide CO2 (emitted by cars). Themost polluting countries are: United States. China, India and Japan.
Global warming is causing irreparable consequences:
* The melting of glaciers;
* More severe droughts causing watershortages;
* Deforestation increases or raises deserts;
* Hurricanes, cyclones, warming makes that more water evaporates from the oceans promoting these types of disasters;
* Rising sea levelswill produce coastal flooding;
* Disruption of habitats such as coral reefs and forests could lead to extinction many plant and animal species in the ecosystem caused variations.
* Heat waveskills elderly and children, especially in Europe;
* Forests, fields and cities will face troublesome new pests and more mosquito-borne diseases.
How to avoid:
* Reducing pollution from vehiclesusing catalysts in the exhaust;
* Maximum use of natural lighting within the domestic environment;
* Use low energy lamps;
* Reduce the use of fossil fuels (oil, diesel, kerosene,naphtha) and increase the use of biofuels (biodiesel, ethanol)
* Installation of emission control harmful industries.
* Expand power generation through clean, renewable sources: hydro, wind, solar,nuclear and tidal power;
* Collaborate with the system of selective waste collection and recycling;
* Not practicing deforestation and burned. By planting more trees, helps reduce globalwarming.
