INTRODUCTION:

This assay is based on "The Trial of lucidity" by José Saramago, who is generally of events in the field of politics; events that are handled differently bythe authorities, in this essay will try to relate the text with the facts and events that have occurred recently.
Pose different problems and stating my point of view of each stage of the trial, since politics has always been an issue that has given so much to talk about, most often because they do not know quite what do the authorities, it only makes known what is convenient for them, thereforethey have purchased the press and rarely comes to light some facts that may disqualify any of the top.
Although the book refers to the "Essay of the Blindness" makes clear that we live in a society full of corruption authority, which does not allow citizens to unfold without being part of it, Saramago addresses this issue by the controversy has always been very sensitive to talk with a hint ofmockery, and perhaps even irony.

The amazement was such that the president of the polling station didn’t know whether to leave he power to the right side that was the one who got the higher percentage of votes, or repeat the elections, anyway the uncertainty of repeating or not the election wasthat unaware of the cause of the behavior of voters, it was unknown whether the same would be repeated again and again, equivalent to the number of times that the elections would be repeated.
