 Do you consider Ryan Bingham’s life attractive (airports, hotels, restaurants, etc.)?
In my opinion Ryan Bingham’s life involves some positive points and some negative points. On the one hand thepositive things that have for example are a lot of Money, you live quite good I mean without financial problems, you live with any problems for anyone or anything just your work. For Ryan his work ishis lifestyle. Moreover that world of airports, luxury cars, expensive hotels and exclusive restaurants could be a different life than going home and to work every day of your life. It`s in somemeaning exotic. On the other hand you are alone with any links or connections; this man doesn’t have even a house. So to sum up for me it is not an attractive life is all most the opposite.
- Would it be“exhilarating” to set your backpack, full of all your belongings, on fire?
At the beginning of the film he uses some phrases that for me explain this question: Imagine for a second that you're carryinga backpack. I want you to pack it with all the stuff that you have in your life... you start with the little things. The shelves, the drawers, the knickknacks, then you start adding larger stuff.Clothes, tabletop appliances, lamps, your TV... the backpack should be getting pretty heavy now. You go bigger. Your couch, your car, your home... I want you to stuff it all into that backpack. Now I wantyou to fill it with people. Start with casual acquaintances, friends of friends, folks around the office... and then you move into the people you trust with your most intimate secrets. Your brothers,your sisters, your children, your parents and finally your husband, your wife, your boyfriend, your girlfriend. You get them into that backpack; feel the weight of that bag.
For my point of view itis not like Ryan tries to explain, perhaps you will earn wealth, fame and popularity but finally it is not a worthwhile way of life. You don’t have any tie with anyone and before or after you will...
