Introducción
Confrecuencia se escucha decir que el hombre es la única especie inteligente. Estas líneas son el producto de algunas reflexiones sobre las FUNCIONES SUPERIORES DEL HOMBRE.

Las Funciones Cerebrales Superiores son aquellas que hacen al hombre diferente de las otras especies, en el sentido de novedad de función en el proceso evolutivo.

Son capacidades exclusivamente humanas, adquiridas en elcurso de la vida individual, mediante el aprendizaje natural o fisiológico, que no son indispensables en todo proceso de aprendizaje, a diferencia de los Dispositivos Básicos del Aprendizaje (DBA).
