Google Inc., is an American multinational corporation which provides internet search, cloud computing, software and advertising technologies.
The company was founded by Larry Page andSergey Brin while both attended Stanford University, both doctoral students in Computer Science, the project objective was to improve internet searches. The domain "Google" was registered on September 15,1997. This search engine was better than other more popular at the time, AltaVista, which was created in 1995. The company's mission was "to organize the world's information and make it universallyaccessible and useful".
Although their main product is the browser, the company also offers other services.
1. Web search engine : is designed to search for information on the World Wide Web. Thesearch results are generally presented in a line of results .The information may be a specialist in web pages, images, information and other types of files. Web search engines work by storing informationabout many web pages. When a user enters a query into a search engine (typically by using keywords), the engine examines its index and provides a listing of best-matching web pages according to itscriteria, usually with a short summary containing the document's title and sometimes parts of the text.
2. Email: is a network service that allows users to send and receive messages and files quickly.Gmail is Google's free email. This has more storage capacity, voice and video chat, have spam filters, gmail on your mobile and the configuration item you can add filters to your account more secureand add advanced features.
3. Google Earth. is a Geographic Information software that lets you view 3D images of the planet, combining satellite imagery, maps and images for viewing at a specificlocation on the planet. With this program you can find specific directions, to approach, identify nearby locations, plot a route from one place to another. And Google has an application that is Google...
