El inglés tiene cuatro tipos de oraciones principales:
Oraciones declarativas o enunciativas (DeclarativeSentence): son oraciones que declaran un hecho o pensamiento.
Ejemplos: "Mary is here.", "My name is Mary."
( "María está aquí.", "Mi nombre es María.")
Oraciones interrogativas (InterrogativeSentence) se usan para hacer preguntas.
Ejemplos: "Where is Mary?", "What is your name?"
("¿Dónde está María?", "¿Cuál es tu nombre?")
Oraciones imperativas (Imperative Sentence) se utilizan paradar una orden.
Ejemplos: "Come here.", "Tell me your name."

Oraciones condicionales (Conditional Sentence) se utilizan para indicar las dependencias entre loseventos o condiciones.
Ejemplo: "If you cut all the trees, there will be no forest."
