A lot of time ago in the city of Guayaquil, The Escobar family constructed their home near a lake.
That putrefacted lake where it doesn’t have any kind of lives in it or around it.

That lake usedto be gorgeous place where children could play and swim. Where neighbors could go camp and socialize o just to appreciate the view till the sunset.

But several pests attacked that rural andbeautiful place and a lot of persons got sick of that pest after they got sick they were about to suffer, then they dead, so every family began moving from that place, they go to the north of guayaquil.A legend told that a poor family that live near the lake stayed there because they were too poor to buy a new house, but they were too poor to pay a doctor too. They stayed there about a month, theycould see the dramatic change of the lake and all around it,

All of their children started to die one by one, and they were too poor to bury them. They threw the death bodies of their children tothe lake, all that place became isolated so nobody could stop them. Few months later mr and ms die too.

Despite all of the years that has passed, you can still smell the odor from that lake. Nowanybody live there…

About a year ago, another poor family, Mr. and Ms. quinde constructed and small shelter in the ruins of the lake. The couple started to put stick by stick. They have a daughterand a son, they were Alejandra and juan. They were very tiny and thin despite of they were thirteen years old.

Mr. quinde was a serious man who the only thing that he wanted was to protect hisfamily and ms quinde was a sweet and kind woman.
Mr quinde talked to his children to do not get on the lake because he knew about what happened in it.

Alejandra was the youngest children, she wasabout 11 years old. She was very curious of that dark place.
